About

For years, Drag Queens have been a part of my life in one way or another. My first partner when was in my 20's was a well-known queen in the San Francisco Bay Area and I also dated a couple of other queens later on. I've attended plenty of drag shows, coronations and more and have always been fascinated by the artistry that a drag queen encompasses. I even did drag a little myself as Ann Thraxxx back in 2000! Drag Queens are in large pillars to the community, working hard most of the time raising funds for charities. It's not all wigs and sparkles! I have a lot of respect for anyone who has the courage to do drag, to get up on a stage and perform their heart out and to live just as they wish to live. I completely support this art form.

The inspiration behind Le Grande Jewels is two-time San Francisco Grand Duchess, Collette LeGrande-Ashton (pictured, right)who is not only a drag queen, but a San Francisco drag pioneer. She is also one of my greatest supporters in my art and I am truly grateful to her for all of the encouragement she has given me. I also greatly appreciate the support shown to me by other queens who have given me endless compliments on my work.

My goal with Le Grande Jewels is to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry for drag queens to add to their already amazing beauty and glamour. I invite any queen to contact me with custom requests and I will be honored to serve them.

I've been designing and handcrafting jewelry since early 2007 and it is absolutely my greatest passion in life.
